Politics: Mother of All Evils

When life came on the planet earth, it was not man alone; birds, animals and beasts had also taken birth here. Prior to that however, all arrangements to sustain life were made much before its arrival on the earth- food in the form of wild fruit and wild roots; heat and light in the form of sunshine; oxygen in the form of air and water in the form of snow and ice were already put in place here. Initially, there was hardly any difference in the behavior of man and the beast as both wore no clothes, ate same food and lived without any shelter. Life of man was hard but not warring; food was ample so no struggle for existence hence no competition or animosity. It was much later that man started hiding their body by wearing leaves and eating cooked meat. However, some evils also came on this earth and politics perhaps was biggest of them, which divided humankind in religions, and regions with the sole aim of grabbing power to rule others. In the primitive society, people were disorganized, unruly and unrefined. However, with passage of time some wise people among them night have thought of organizing, taming and refining the unruly population. For this, they would have framed a bunch of rules and called it in their own language something like dharma, religion or constitution. They also devised some terms like punya and paap; and swarg and narak. Eventually, those who followed rules were called as Puni while those who violated the rules were called as Paapi. They also created an imaginary character that in the later centuries was known as Ishwar, God or Allah who according to them would oversee anything happening in the world and punish or reward people according to their deeds. This unseen power would then send after their death, the wicked in the burning hell and call the pious to the heaven where He would himself reside. :

However, with process of evolution continuing and character of the society changing, need to change the rules was also felt and it was then perhaps that politician was born. He was intelligent and cunning. Superiority was his character and seeing others as inferiors his temperament. Therefore, to find his place in the society he sowed the seeds of jealousy in the minds of the obedient juniors who captured power mostly by murdering their seniors. Being intelligent and cunning, a politician initially ruled from behind the Saints, but started using his brain child- the policy of Divide and Rule enabling him to rule from the front. This was perhaps the beginning of world’s division- in regions and religions; in sects and sub-sects and from party to parties. I am sure had there been no politicians the world would have been one and the whole of the humanity would be a united entity. Today man is everything except a human being, which he originally was. :

Let’s remember that God did not make us Hindu, Muslim or Christian. Had this not been so then we would have come in the world with our individual religious signs like Khutna, Holy thread or a Cross on our body. Also, had nature made us different, it would have created separate air; separate sunlight and separate water for us, but contrarily, nature provided us with same air, same water and same sunlight. Even the composition and color of blood is same, which means that all of us were born one and it was someone else who divided us vertically and horizontally by exploiting our sentiments, ignorance and backwardness. And, who else it could be than the power hungry politician? :

Respected readers this is my personal observation about politics and politicians. Rest I leave it to you to decide for yourself who else the villain of the humanity could be.
